When you step from the walkway lined with hanging baskets of flowers into our Cliff House B&B, you’re surrounded by beauty on four walls: Marion’s photographs of Kodiak Island and beyond, glow in vibrant colors.
It’s a quiet “cafe” of images—puffins, bears, snowflakes, northern lights—a fine art gallery where you can wander among the photographs hanging on the walls or peruse the matted prints arranged in bins.
Would you like a cup of tea?
There’s another gallery of sorts, outside in the garden…
You’re invited to take your tea outside and stroll around the oceanside vegetable, herb and flower gardens. Bring your camera. You’ll want to take pictures of Daisy, the mosaic dragon. Plus, the gardens and views are gorgeous. And you might see an eagle, sea otter, or killer whale.
We’re open year round, but we’re pretty busy in the summer, so it’s best to contact us ahead of time. Our B&B guests of course, get to come and go through the gallery as they please.
How to purchase Marion’s photos
Metal prints: Metal prints, like the ones hanging on the walls in their gallery, have a magical luminescence about them, and are available in many sizes. They can be purchased at the gallery, or we can direct the lab to drop-ship them right to your home or office.
Take-home prints: Classic paper prints, backed with acid-free mat board and then sealed in a protective plastic sleeve, are also available at the gallery.
Post cards and calendars: Marion’s beautiful calendars and post cards (a collections of 13 cards as a photographer’s dozen) are available at the gallery and online at MarionOwenPhotography.com. The website showcases more of her work, including her beautiful, one-of-a-kind snowflake images.
And when you come visit, we’ll put on the tea kettle for you…
